About Us

History

In 2006,our founding directors decided to form Agraj Seva Kendra with a view to involve senior citizens in rendering service to the community. Now we are a dedicated team and helping the community has become a permanent part of lives of our members.

 

In 2006, we formed "Elder Volunteer Services" a service project to involve seniors in recruiting volunteers from the community at large and conduct educational and cultural activities for the benefit of the community.

 

In 2008, we formed a consortium consisting of East Brunswick Public Library, India Association of Garden State and the Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick.

 

In 2012, we formed a consortium consisting of 4-H Indian Langoor Club, North Brunswick Township Board of Education and North Brunswick Township High School.

 

In 2013 we formed a consortium with Monroe Township Arts Commission.

 

Our hallmark event is the Classical Indian Dance Extravaganza 'Adi Shakthi'at the East Brunswick High School on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
