NJ350: Travelling Exhibit on Innovation Diversity and Liberty

The State of New Jersey celebrated 350th Anniversary of the State in 2014. In commemoration, Agraj

Seva Kendra partnered with 4-H Indian Langoor Club and kick started a travelling exhibit on “NJ350 –

Innovation Diversity and Liberty” at the East Brunswick Public Library on January 26, 2014 which

coincided with the India Republic Day Celebrations.

The focus of the exhibition is on the contributions of the Indian American community and showcase how

Indian culture has become so much a part of New Jersey State.

The exhibition travelled to several places including North Brunswick High School for India Independence

Day celebrations on August 2, 2014.

We have partnered with Indian American Club, a tax exempt nonprofit in Monroe and bringing this

exhibit to Rossmoor, an active adult community.

On Sunday, May 17, 2015 NJ350 Exhibit will travel to Rossmoor Clubhouse as part of Heritage Day.

This project was made possible by a generous grant from the Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage

Commission, Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, New Jersey Historical

Commission/Department of State.
