Volunteering opportunity

We are looking forward to recruiting committed, service oriented  students to conduct a research on the Indian Diaspora in New Jersey called "Indian Americans Shape the Nation.' The volunteers will explore the vibrant heritage, daily experience and diverse political, professional and cultural contributions of Indian immigrants and their decentants in the State of New Jersey. They will research published local histories, newspapers and other publications and compile oral histories. Based on the research, the volunteers will make a public presentation at the East Brunswick Public Library.

Students who volunteer will gain valuable research experience, will have the opportunity to make business and personal contacts and will develop communication skills while serving the community.
